Love it or hate it, Valentines Day 2018 is just around the corner.  Though it might be tempting to write it off as a cheesy holiday, Valentines Day packs some serious marketing potential that should not be overlooked. The power of social media especially on this particular holiday is astounding. Whether you hop on Facebook to proclaim your support of #singlesawarenessday or post photos of you and your significant other out to a fancy dinner; We all tune in and celebrate the day in different ways.  The National Retail Federation projects that Americans alone will spend a whopping $19.6 billion on Valentines Day in 2018.  Here’s our definitive list of tips and tricks to help you make the most of Valentines Day.

A quick google search will yield tons of great examples of companies that are doing email marketing right.  A simple Valentines Day email campaign decked out in pink and red can go a long way. It’s an excellent way to reconnect with clients you may not have heard from in a while. It’s also a great opportunity to send a small coupon or promo exclusively to your subscribers.

Run a Valentines day product special or promo

Give your subscribers a reason to love you on Valentines day. Send a special coupon to everyone on your email list.  Or run a 24 hour promotion that’s only good on Valentines Day.
